Smoking On Balconies Photo Bounty

Gilmore Place Tower 1 & Tower 3 (in Green) are offering a reward for photos of resident smoking on balconies. 
Gilmore Tower 2 (in red) in not participating in the program at this time.

Details of the program 

In recent months, discarded lit cigarettes from balconies have caused burns to furniture, scorched common areas, and created serious fire hazards. Despite repeated warnings, these incidents continue. We are working to protect our community, and the Strata Council has introduced a reporting reward program for our building.  This is public and open for anyone to report and receive the bounty.  If you can see someone smoking on the tower we are asking you capture either a photo, we suggest a video as this is easiest and we can screen grab from it, and then add a photo allowing our team to be able to count the floors to the identified balcony 

 Reporting Reward

  • Verified reports of smoking on balconies can receive up to $100 if requirements are met.
  • Evidence must include:A photo or video clearly showing the individual smoking.  The photo and video must be unedited and have the original meta data on it for authenticity verification. Any altered photos may not be considered.A wide-angle or panorama photo to help identify the unit’s floor. Our team must be able to count up from the Patio or show Street level or down from the top of the building for concierge team to be able to correctly confirm the offending unit.

 Reward Details

  • First valid report: $100 Amazon Rewards Card (you will be notified if you qualify).
  • Second valid report within 24 hours: $50 Rewards Card (you will be notified if you qualify).
  • Additional reports within 7 days for the same unit: No reward, no notification.
  • Confidentiality: Identities remain confidential.
  • Timing: Rewards are approved monthly at strata meeting and sent to the reporting email addresses
